Our Forever Home
This week marks our 3rd month we've been in our Forever Beautiful Property Home here at Lakewood Flats. ... We are sooo Excited to be here. We had Family from out of town this past Sunday and they Raved about our beautiful apartment home/property, the landscaping and all the amenities we have access to. The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and always go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. I submitted ... a maintenance request recently and the issue was promptly resolved. I couldn't have asked for a quicker turnaround. I have lived at Lakewood Flats since 2015 and absolutely love it! Aside from being a beautiful property at a great location ... (White Rock Lake), the community is very pet friendly and the property is very safe. In addition, Lakewood Flats offers excellent amenities—one of which is the free John Mundy Boot Camp Classes every Tuesday & Thursday! These Boot Camp sessions are high intensity-strengthening-fat burning classes. John Mundy, the Instructor is a top notch trainer who provides tough, effective and fun workouts! He is so positive and inclusive of all fitness levels. I have lost 25 pounds participating in these boot camp classes and this is the main reason I will be renewing my lease once again! I have lived here for the past 4 months and have loved every minute. The property is very beautiful and well maintained, ... with incremental improvements to the landscaping, pools, and fitness center that have been performed in the short time that I have been there. 3 gas grills, 2 pools, 2 dog parks, the 24-hour fitness center, and access to White Rock Lake via the Santa Fe trail are some of my favorite amenities. There are plenty of dining options located in Lakeview Center and the surrounding neighborhood, with The Lot and White Rock Alehouse accessible on foot via a short walk along the Santa Fe Trail (6 and 12 minutes, respectively). The employees of SIMC Management are very friendly and a pleasure to work with, and did a great job of making me feel welcome. This is a fairly quiet complex with most residents keeping to themselves, though SIMC does a great job of hosting social events for residents as a way to meet the neighbors. This is a newer luxury apartment complex (Built in 2012) that is priced exceptionally well. Lakewood Flats should definitely make your short-list when looking for your next home. Lovely nest
I've lived in Lakewood Flats for several years now and still love it! The location and access to the lake and Santa Fe Train ... is incredible. The apartment is lovely and very well laid out, the pools and gym make you feel like you're living in a resort. The management staff, and in particular the maintenance staff, are all so responsive and nice. Only negative are the residents who don't pick up after their dogs grrrr! Have to mention one of best assets of the property, John Mundy, he is the trainer who lives in the complex and trains at the gym. He has been my trainer since I moved in and what a joy it is to work with him, he has gotten me through a number of physical problems through the years with his expertise, emotional support, and encouragement! Having worked in the property management business in the past, I know how difficult it can be to keep a property running ... smoothly. The staff here at Lakewood Flats has it down! I've had nothing but positive experiences since moving in both with the apartment itself and with the staff. Parking is plentiful, both for guests and residents, residents are friendly, the staff is helpful and welcoming. Upon moving in my apartment didn't require a single additional work order. It was as if no one had lived in the unit before me. I cannot hear my neighbors through the walls and feel the value of the community far outweighs the cost of living here. I couldn't be happier.
